My mother had postpartum depression with my younger sister, and I wanted to be proactive against baby blues when I became pregnant with my first baby. Beyond all the prayers we sowed into not suffering from postpartum depression, I wanted something that the baby and I could enjoy together so I went to work and developed this Joyful Blend of essential oils and body oil.
It’s power in a bottle! Everyone raves about it. It smells great, and it works. Win-win!
This is hands down one of my favorite combos, and we still love it to this day! It makes a great body oil and daily moisturizer. It’s a great combination of essential oils for stretch marks, too. If you have a diffuser, you can put these same essential oils in it to convert your home into a joyful healthy haven.

Ingredients
- 1 ounce Mama Z’s Essential Oil Base
- 4 drops orange essential oil
- 4 drops vanilla essential oil, vanilla CO2, or vanilla absolute
Supplies
- glass bottle or glass salve jar
Instructions
- Once you have your Mama Z’s Oil Base mixed and ready, add the essential oil to 1 ounce of your premade base.
- Mix so the oils blend into the base.
- Store in glass container.
