A growing number of people are using essential oils for depression because they work and have virtually no side effects if used properly. One of the most popular, orange oil, is like a liquid antidepressant, but it’s important to realize that there are several more that you can use to great effect (see recipe below as an example). In fact, there are many essential oils for mood boosting that are easy to use and the key is to find what works for you.
Important Note About Depression
On a serious note, if you or a loved one struggles with depression, it is crucial to find safe, effective treatments. If at any time you have thoughts of harming yourself or others, please don’t hesitate contacting the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org any time, day or night.
You were never meant to deal with depression alone, and there is always someone readily available to help you through a tough moment. Trust me, I understand depression – struggled with it for years – even led me to have suicidal thoughts. Then, when I met Christ 15 years ago, I discovered what the Bible says about depression and I prayed that God lift the burden off of my shoulders. Then, “Poof!” it literally vanished instantly. Today, I can confidently boast in the Lord that I am still free!
Our hope and prayer is that you and your loved ones will one day experience this type of miraculous deliverance in your life, but if your healing doesn’t come right away, then we highly encourage you to try the recipe below and be sure to check out essential oils for depression to get more tips, because there are no other substances on the planet that we know of that can boost your mood and help get you out of a funk so effectively!
