Quotable Quotes
“Why are we spending so much time on long-term goals, when we don’t know where we’ll be tomorrow? That’s why God says, ‘Today is the day that you have. Do your best and leave the results to Me.’” – Dr. Z“I always felt like the mental part of the game was just as important as the physical part of the game, and that a lot of times people only focus on the body. They need to focus on the mind as a muscle as well.” – Mama Z
“We should do everything with all of our mind, heart, soul, and strength.” – Dr. Z“Sometimes we don’t always know what our heart’s desire is, because we’re not there yet, but God does because he sees the picture from beginning to the end.” – Mama Z

[0:00 – 1:05] Prelude
Sabrina has all of her pageant tapes from doing her Miss America, Miss.
Mama Z: We’re talking like VHSs, because this is like.
Dr Z: Tapes, I remember we were dating.
Mama Z: I competed, right.
Dr Z: When we were recording you said hey I’m going to show … I forget why.
Mama Z: I competed in the Miss America Organization from 1996, until 2002, so literally from the time I was 17 to 24.
Dr Z: Then you aged out.
Mama Z: I aged out, I crossed over into the USA system, competed another two years.
Dr Z: You almost won, you almost won Miss Michigan.
Mama Z: It was fourth winner up, I was fourth row, yep I was fourth row.
Dr Z: You won multiple local events.
Mama Z: Yep.
Dr Z: But the thing about it is, when I saw … I think it was Miss Michigan, whatever 2002 or whatever it was, when I saw you, your talent, and her talent was … and I’ll let you explain it. Just bottom line, you broke a board, you did this martial arts thing, and you broke a board with your wrist and elbow, and I was like, I fell in love with you, and then I was afraid of you at the same moment. I was like, “Who is this woman? She’s breaking boards and then she’s at this pageant.” I’m like, “Whoa, this is hot, this woman’s something else.”
Mama Z: It was really an evolution over time and when I first started.

[2:26 –10:58 ] Introducing Goal Setting and Vision Boards Plus What’s in Our Diffuser!
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: Like we just shared with our YouTube, Facebook audience on the stream here in the video, I got a little ambitious with the notes that I had for episode six. I thought we could cover everything, but I felt we had a really good conversation 45 minutes later, it’s like, “We only covered half my bullet points.” I’m seeing a trend here.
Mama Z: You’re going to continue that trend.
Dr Z: Well this is a good trend, I don’t mind part twos, part three’s it’s like, “Okay”, it’s a little like, you get lost. But part twos are good.
Mama Z: I don’t really remember other than Karate Kid, a part three that was like goo.
Dr Z: Toy Story.
Mama Z: Well I guess Toy Story.
Dr Z: Hobbit, Lord Of The Rings, Harry Porter, I mean you want me to keep on going? Lethal Weapon.
Mama Z: I don’t know about all that, but anyway, part two we do definitely want to keep it fresh.
Dr Z: This is part two of the importance of discipline, hard work and healthy goal setting so you can enjoy an abundant life. I have air quotes when I say the word goal, because I hope today if we cover it we’ll have time, I’m going to explain to you why I don’t set goals in the traditional sense, why I don’t create vision boards, and why this has really helped me become … as an entrepreneur, become not only uber productive, but quite successful in our industry. But before we do.
Mama Z: I have our diffuser recipe, and because this is a part two class basically, the, our discussion, I wanted to make sure that our diffuser kind of went along with that too. Last time we did our allergy blend, which is equal parts of lemon, lavender and peppermint. Now the decongesting blend is just adding tea tree to the mix. It’s equal parts of lemon, lavender, peppermint and tea tree.
Dr Z: What do you think, how does it smell?
Mama Z: It smells great, and it smells totally different than lemon, lavender and peppermint, and you’d be surprised, but that tea tree really gives it that plus D when it comes to allergies. But it’s just kind of an amazing scent too.
Dr Z: Can I tell you a secret?
Mama Z: What?
Dr Z: I added something to it.
Mama Z: You know what, I asked him, I said, “Well what is in that?” Because.
Dr Z: Neroli.
Mama Z: I was going to guess you’d put like.
Dr Z: Neroli, lemon, lavender, peppermint, tea tree, and when I was putting the tea tree in, you went upstairs, so I had my little.
Mama Z: Oh, oh, his creation closet, watch out folks.
Dr Z: It’s awesome, I know how many I have now, 150 different kinds of oils, and I put neroli in, and I think that’s the new one. Neroli just adds that, it adds that something.
Mama Z: Because I was like, “It smells totally different”.
Dr Z: You like it don’t? Because neroli has a very similar essence like tea tree does, it’s very cleansing, it’s.
Mama Z: But it has like a cleaner, floral scent.
Dr Z: That’s what I’m talking about, I love it. You know what on a completely unrelated side topic, I’ll never forget the first time I walked through an orange grove in the season when the blossoms are.
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: Oh folks, this was something, it was like heaven. We were in Disney World at the time and.
Mama Z: You were like, “What is that?”
Dr Z: I took the kids to Lego Land, and on the way to Lego Land from where we were staying in Orlando, it was about like a 45 minute drive, and we are driving, beautiful weather, the windows were down, I was jamming on the music that we were playing. We were just having fun, and I smelled heaven, I literally felt like I was, “What in the world is this smell?” I looked around me, and I’m from Michigan, I’m not, I’ve never even picked an orange, fresh. The only thing that I’ve ever picked fresh was the limes, the lemons you grow in a pot, in our.
Mama Z: I remember when our first blooms came out, you were like out there going, I’m like, “Are you okay out there?”
Dr Z: I love it, and lemon blossom and lime blossom is heaven.
Mama Z: Yes it is.
Dr Z: I literally pulled on the side of the road, because we’re in this just huge orange grove, like a mile, half a mile, I don’t know how long, it was just forever. We parked out, and we got all the kids out, and I’m like, “Let’s go smell.” We are smelling, and it was literally the most, just unbelievable aromatic experience I’ll never forget.
Dr Z: But you know what really cool about this story? Some dude … I don’t know who you are some dude, but if you’re listening, I love you and God bless you, because we prayed for you. Some guy saw us on the side of the road … and I just pulled on the side of the road, I put our hazards on, and he actually came, just a few seconds later, and he parked behind us, and he asked if we needed help.
Dr Z: How cool is that? What a boost to humanity. He goes, “Excuse me sir, are you all right?” I’m like, “Oh yeah, we’re fine”, and he was, “Yeah, I saw your car and your hazard’s on, just wondering to see if you needed help.” I go, “No, no”, we ended up talking for a couple of minutes, found out he was a Christian. Us, me and the kids laid hands on him, prayed for him, he was so blessed, and I was like, “Oh, what a great.”
Dr Z: It was like that God moment, and it really just inspired me, because to be very open with you sometimes when you go to Disney World, you forget that you’re human, in this environment where everyone’s pushing each other, everyone’s trying to get first in line. It was like … when you’re in Disney mode, it’s like you put your head down, and you just survive sometimes, it went crazy Disney mode. We are in Disney mode, surviving the millions of people trying.
Mama Z: I think I was actually dress shopping at that time when you were doing this.
Dr Z: You weren’t even with us, it was me and the kids having an outing, and I was like you know, I was just kind of getting burnt out at people, because that’s one of the … actually the really only bad thing about Disney is the people.
Mama Z: What?
Dr Z: Too many people, people, they wear … we make…
Mama Z: Now the best time of year that we have gone now.
Dr Z: We.
Mama Z: Was this last, was it September? There was nobody there.
Dr Z: It was nice, and don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of good people there too, but you can see these people are like burnt out in there … and we have season passes, we go to Disney a lot. A lot of folks, they’re first timers, their kids are screaming, they’re hungry, and they’re tired, they never done Disney before, they’re like. But anyway, I just sometimes have to disconnect, because I’m actually an introvert by nature, and for me being around a lot of people all the time, it just drains me. Anyway, that guy, bless his heart.
Mama Z: You’re an introvert, I never would have guessed that.
Dr Z: You don’t know that?
Mama Z: No.
Dr Z: By definition, that’s why I always retract at family functions, I can’t, no. That’s why you, the Energizer Bunny, you’re always talking, talking, talking, talking, that’s why me, I’ll sit on the couch, I’ll hang out with your dad and watch football. I need to recharge.
Mama Z: Interesting.
Dr Z: By definition, an introvert is one who gets drained emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, by being with people. Where an extrovert is someone who when they’re with people, it energizes them.
Mama Z: See my profile was ENTP, I thought you were an ENTJ?
Dr Z: I was an ENTJ for the Myers-Briggs, but I’m like, I’m not a strong E, it’s by definition, literally.
Mama Z: If there’s a strong E, I would be stronger than the strongest E.
Dr Z: When we speak on stage or at a conference, I’m done. I’ll speak, I’ll give my heart for an hour, I’ll network and I’ll bless people, and then I like, I have to take a nap, I’m done. It’s, where you … and you know our good friend Chris Wark? You and Chris Wark, you guys were just jazzed up, “Yeah more people, more energy.”
Dr Z: It’s like I feel like part of my … like I have an energy canister, and every person I work, I’m with, is like a little piece of my energy and it doesn’t go back. But anyway I come back, and I kind of resound with Christ, I wonder if Christ was introverted, because he went up the mountain by himself, and he took some time away, and he needed to recoup, recharge, and so I relate to that.
Dr Z: Sometimes I just need a … I will, whenever there’s a function, whenever we speak at a conference, I’m always sneaking away, and getting away. Just recharge, praying, having a snack, but anyway, that’s 100% not the topic, but neroli, and why do I say that whole topic? Because what is neroli? Neroli is orange blossom, essential oil, basically.
Dr Z: I love orange oil, and then blood orange, sweet orange, wild orange, you have mandarin, tangerine, neroli, I have this whole, every citrus oil useable – every citrus oil you can imagine.
Mama Z: Wait until you see my next diffuser blend.
Dr Z: I can’t wait, and I hope we talk about what we want to talk about next episode, but you never know. I want to talk about The Art of self Love, and-
Mama Z: Give our friend’s book a shameless plug too.
[10:58– 17:51] Intro Mama Z’s Athletic Background
Dr Z: Yep, our friend Kim Morrison who inspired this talk, but we’ll see where we go. Anyway, okay, we left off, we talked about all kinds of fun things in episode six, your dad, your, essentially your dad giving you a legacy of work ethic, and hard work and picking a thousand weeds before you can hang out with your friends. We didn’t cover your personal training slash pageant training tips, and that’s really where I think it’d be a nice segueway and then I hope I have time to talk about this goal, concept. Because you can’t talk about discipline and hard work without talking about goal setting, and what that really means for people. You, now 40 almost.
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: No, you’re 40 and a half, you the last three years, or four years, you took a year off because of baby, baby Bella.
Mama Z: Yep, so I competed in.
Dr Z: You’ve been competing in the Mrs. Georgia America Pageant.
Mama Z: Since 2015, so 2015.
Dr Z: You’ve had first runner-up, three times?
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: First runner-up, three times which is a whole discussion, and I actually want to talk to you about that in another show. But you’ve won everything, throughout all of it, you’ve won swimsuit, you’ve won photogenic, you’ve won evening gown. The one thing that’s really been impressive is … because you’re about training yet, when are you going to start? When’s the official start day for training?
Mama Z: I’ve already really started training, but.
Dr Z: For June, it’s a June event.
Mama Z: Right, it’s a June event, but I’ve already really started training because it’s, there’s like different facets to the way that I train, and I want to bring people back where these all started. Growing up I did, I was part of a girls track club, and I always ice skated since I was two, I started ice skating, and my dad on the off seasons we had someone come to our school and talk about a girls track club.
Mama Z: My dad signed my sister and I up, and in the spring, summer, we did track, and then the fall, we did, I did … she didn’t do that, she had soccer, so I did cross country. Right from a young age, I started running and competed at the regionals and even the nationals, actually a funny story about that. I had gotten a brand new pair of spikes, and my dad would be with the stopwatch, he’d be at every turn, and he’d be like, “30 seconds faster, whatever.”
Dr Z: That’s awesome
Mama Z: And so this one, I was in the nationals, and I tripped, and I fell down a hill. I had new spikes on, and I cut my time by 30 seconds. Falling down the hill, and my dad’s like, “Whoa, I don’t know what happened. You cut your time by 30 seconds, keep it up.” Anyways, I told him afterwards, I’d fallen down the hill and then, I was in sixth grade, anyways it was super funny.
Mama Z: We had started just training, we had a certain protocol, and what we did to prepare the night before, days before, a water regiment just to make sure that you’re super hydrated. Then what we did during the day of, and then fast forward a little bit, I had gotten into school track, and my mom would come to every event we ever were in, she would never miss one event, and…
Dr Z: She still does that, she’s been all your pageants and everything.
Mama Z: She has.
Dr Z: Your mom would travel from Michigan to a Georgia pageant for a weekend.
Mama Z: She will, and so, but my dad … and we’ll talk more about his dedication speech and what that meant and everything, but he wouldn’t come to something unless he felt like we were 100% dedicated. He would actually say it, he would say it like, it’d be like, it would be, “Dedication, dedication.” It would be, and there was a whole speech about it, so anyway.
Dr Z: I don’t want that to fall on you-
Mama Z: It will be fine.
Dr Z: You only hear a crash and all your notes falling on the floor.
Mama Z: But he talked about dedication, so then I transitioned from ice skating to speed skating, and mind you in the summer time, we didn’t have as much going on. But my dad because he was an athlete, and a very high level athlete, he had a home plate, and he had baseballs, so he would get those Wiffle balls, the big, fat, soft ball Wiffle balls, and the big, red bats and so he would pitch to us. Every 10 home run over to the neighbor’s fence, we would get a prize, and then you got 20, and you got an ice cream cone type thing.
Mama Z: We always knew hard work and dedication, and then you got a price type thing, so and obviously in sports then, you got the ribbon or you got the trophy, or whatever. When I transitioned to speed skating, it started getting a little more rigorous, and my sister was my training partner, so in the summer time, one of our coaches, coach Kenghis, would take us to the rail trail, and time us, and we would beat our times from the last time. It was funny because my dad was also our coach, and so he would say, “Now, if you guys cut each lap by three seconds, you’ll beat your overall time by 15 seconds.”
Mama Z: He had it out mathematically, I’m like, “Dad, people don’t get into the Olympics because of hundredths of a second, so it might look really good you behind that stop watch, but we have to do it out there.” We’d be out there, and so we would train all different kinds of muscles, quick twitch muscle fiber, and all these different stuff, and we had it broke down to a science when it came to speed skating, and we would of course during the summers train at the Olympic Training Center, and we did lots of stuff with speed skating, and enjoyed it so much.
Mama Z: But it paved the way because when I pretty much was phasing out of speed skating, it was really getting into my college year-
Dr Z: You skated with Apolo Ohno right?
Mama Z: Yeah, yeah, we did.
Dr Z: That’s kind of a cool little tidbit.
Mama Z: He was super fun, he was super fun, I’ve got lots of stories, and but it was really interesting, because one thing about Michigan is that when you live in Michigan, in the winter time, you don’t see a lot of people. People come out of hibernation and then they just come out of the woodwork. So it was harder to find ice time in the summer time because people really transitioned to swimming in the pools and all the other stuff, and not thinking about ice. So you’d have to go find ice.
[17:54 – 25:44] Discipline and Mama Z’s Pageant Training
Mama Z: I started doing martial arts, and got involved in martial arts, and it was a simple, it was a similar discipline, and I loved that discipline factor. That’s one of the things that I talk about a lot of times is the discipline factor, and discipline is so important, but there’s other things that I remember about not just the speed skating training and the martial arts training, but really being able to visualize.
Mama Z: My mom’s best friend, one of her best friends Mrs Buck, we called her Mrs B, and she’s the one that really got me involved with essential oils back when I was really really young. I was in the seventh, eighth grade, I believe it was the seventh grade when she bought me my first essential oil kit so to speak. It had three oils in it, and it was lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus, and those were the three, and an aromatherapy book, and.
Dr Z: Actually we cover the blends that Mrs. Buck made you for your pregnancy in the book The Healing Power of Essential Oils.
Mama Z: Yes we do.
Dr Z: I got to say like half of those recipes you all are Sabrina’s recipes, and many of them came from friends and family, passed down. I love those recipes, especially the one with neroli.
Mama Z: But Mrs. Buck was really big on visualizing, and we would go through scenarios whether it was for training for high level this or that, and right about the same time, that I got into martial arts, I had been involved in the pageants. It was kind of a natural carry over too, it had the same discipline, and focus, and so when I look at everything, it’s of course mind, soul, and body, and everything goes together. So when I start my training process, because like you were talking about the difference between a normal, you’re that every day person to bodybuilder mode, when you’re going to train and compete. It’s very similar when you’re in normal mode and then you cut and shred really the last little bits of what you need for your competition.
Dr Z: It’s like maintenance mode versus high performance mode, and you can’t sustain high performance.
Mama Z: No.
Dr Z: You could sustain maintenance, but high performance is like the marathon, doing Everest, it’s like that one shot thing.
Mama Z: Well and the thing about it is … and whether it’s with competing, you’re always going to look great because you take care of your body, you put good fuel in your body, and this just kind of takes to that nth degree.
Dr Z: You’re doing research and you’re … I don’t know if I were more turned on or more afraid, when I saw your pageant tapes when you showed your talent.
Dr Z: It was a really cool pageant, oh I’m sorry, it was a cool talent you had.
Mama Z: Well, when I first started, I actually read poetry that I wrote. It wasn’t your most crowd appealing talent I’ve got to say.
Dr Z: Was that with the girl with the tuba?
Mama Z: You saw that.
Dr Z: The poor girl with the tuba, there was a girl with a tubathough?
Mama Z: In one of them, yes, yes.
Dr Z: You and your mom making…*laughs*
Mama Z: Anyways.
Dr Z: By the way, don’t do a tuber if you’re competing for a pageant.
Mama Z: If you do, just have some background music not just so, but it’s…
Dr Z: It’s got to be hard to do a pageant, I can imagine.
Mama Z: The things is, is when you open yourself up to being involved with a pageant, you need a coach, and Sally has been my coach for years, and then Lolana has been my coach for the last five year, and … or four years. It’s really important to have a good coach, and, but I remember Sally was getting me material on dramatic readings and other things, she’s like something different.
Mama Z: The very first thing, there was a girl that could not sing for anything in the pageant, and she came up to me after that pageant when I read poetry that I wrote, and she told me that I really needed to change my talent. “I thought man if she tells me I really need to change my talent, then I must really need to change my talent.”
Mama Z: I had studied in martial arts, and I was still learning things in martial arts, and I had some friends that did dance in martial arts. At first I didn’t know enough martial arts, so I mixed dance and martial arts together, and then as things progressed … every year, I tried to do better than I did the year before, I would change things, I would talk to experts, I researched fashion, all the different areas of competition. I find that that is so important because you need to know everything about a lot of different areas when you’re in pageants.
Mama Z: Thankfully I’ve had a lot of really cool experiences afforded to me over the years, where I’ve gotten to just volunteer for different things and ask people all kinds of interesting questions.
Dr Z: Your training and prep right now, really I’ll say everyone gets the benefit from this, your training season, especially your nutrition, your mind, body, focus, the result of all of this research and really at this point, 22, 3 years now of living this lifestyle, that has manifested into what we now call the Essential Fast Track Phase of our book.
Mama Z: Yes, the Essential Fast Track.
Dr Z: By the way you all, you could get the book, it’s pre-ordered, and something cool I got to say about Amazon, is Amazon has a pre-order price guarantee. You buy the book, regardless of what the price is today, it could be full price, but I guarantee you, Amazon will discount the price, they always do before the publishers. When the book comes out May 7th, Amazon will refund your credit card for the difference, so you could go to Amazon or you can go to EssentialOilsDiet.com, pre-order the book and what you could do is follow the Essential Fast Track Phase, which is really like a 30 day bootcamp.
Dr Z: It’s essentially taking the best of the best of what Sabrina has done, and trying to help you walk through it with meal plans and thou shall nots do this, and thou shall do these stuff. Nice thing is, this is perfect for people who are training for pageant, getting ready for their wedding, maybe you want to think about beach body, whatever it is, if you want a goal.
Dr Z: I love that that experience wasn’t wasted, because again it’s dawning on me now, that chapter of the book, that whole section, 22 years. Let’s transition into visualization piece, and how important that was.
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: Then let’s wrap up with the goals.

[26:48 – 36:02] Mama Z’s Tips on How to Visualize for Big events and Everyday Life
Mama Z: Whenever I’d have a big event, whether it was the pageant, or our wedding, because all the same things to get ready for a pageant is all the same things it took to get ready for our wedding. Even to the baby shower, my same team of people that were kind of part of my prep team, they were all there and they were like, “Hey, we’ve done all these pre pageant parties to get ready for Miss Michigan, this is just like that, but for your wedding.”
Mama Z: They made it … we had so much fun with it, because they’re like, “Hey, the next one, we’ll just plan for before you get married and your wedding.” But the same kind of thing was when I was also pregnant with the babies, and the visualization and all the stuff in prep for that too. I found that the diffuser was a big piece, because whenever I would be ready for an event, Mrs. B would pray about what kind of scent to make or to give me, and then she’d have something for over my pillow at night, and a refreshing thing for in the morning for focus, and all of that stuff.
Mama Z: I would listen to my … and this is so funny, even back when I was in my speed skating days, I would listen to doctor Norman Vincent Peal on The Power Of Positive Thinking. It was funny because my sister and some of our friends that traveled with us to every meet would be like, “You are great, you are awesome.” They would like, “What is your tapes even say?” But they would make fun of it all the time, and I had certain ones that I would do when it came to game time, and just certain focus things, that’s changed and adapted over the years.
Mama Z: But The Power Of Positive Thinking if you have not done it on books on tape or other things, it’s so invigorating, and I love listening to it over and over again, I have over the years. Now I had the long version, and these days they have like a two tape version, but this one was like a six or eight tape version, and just fabulous teaching.
Dr Z: What does that look like, explain, flesh out what this visualization means. You literally your eyes closed.
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: You’re envisioning yourself with the crown on your head, so what do you mean?
Mama Z: No, not like that, so each phase of competition, so we’re talking about from the moment that we would arrive, even at Miss Michigan per se. Because it’s such, it’s a much longer experience than it is going to Miss Georgia, and from the moment you roll in to the parking lot, until the moment you roll out is really, you want to visualize each day. You can do a day at a time, you can do the whole experience.
Dr Z: Mentally prepare?
Mama Z: Mentally prepare, and once you’ve been there once, and so I tried to watch as many tapes as I possibly could. My family, they would say, “Oh, she’s watching her game tapes again,” and I’d be downstairs like football coaches review game tapes, and I’d be watching my pageant footage. I’d be sewing my costume, I’d be putting things together, all throughout the process, and every weekend I would study the game tapes.
Dr Z: This is something that someone can do practically speaking because 99% of people listening aren’t going to participate in a pageant.
Mama Z: Correct.
Dr Z: But you’re now a sales rep.
Mama Z: Right.
Dr Z: For a semi-pro hockey league, the OHL, the Saginaw Spirit, and you did other jobs, so how did you take that visualization to the work place now? How did you take that visualization to singing and the choir at church? Just like … because I think there’s something really special here that people listening are going to get that literally can change their life.
Mama Z: I really think it’s key too, because if you, just like I was talking in our last episode, one of the teachings of doctor Norman Vincent Peal is, “Throw your heart over the bar, and your body and mind will follow.” I always felt like the mental part of the game was just as important as the physical part of the game, and that a lot of times people only focus on the body, and they need to focus on the mind as a muscle as well. Visualization is a huge part of that, so seeing yourself do each thing perfectly and going through the feelings and the experience and all of that stuff.
Mama Z: At first before I could do it for myself, Mrs B would walk me through the experience, and she’d say, “Okay, now we’re here”, and, “We’re there”, and she’d been there so many times that.
Dr Z: Were you sitting down eyes closed? Try to walk through practically, so you’re sitting down.
Mama Z: Yep, sitting down, eyes closed, thinking about my outfit from top to bottom, thinking about my feelings, all the way trough preliminary nights of competition. Then we would go through the whole experience the whole time, and then each day while I was at competition, I would focus on that day.
Dr Z: You did the same thing, the prep for a job interview?
Mama Z: Same thing for a job interview, the same thing.
Dr Z: Did you do the same thing before we first went out on our first date?
Mama Z: I did not.
Dr Z: What? So…
Mama Z: But prep, but preliminarily speaking.
Dr Z: Wait, wait, wait, hold on a second, Chris, can you believe that? She didn’t visualize our first date, and like this is big deal. For those of you who don’t know, Chris is our audio and video producer here, and he’s like our Ed McMahon back here when we do the videos. It’s like, come on, this is like the biggest day of your life, meeting me, and you don’t visualize yourself.
Mama Z: I visualized before that moment about my husband to be, but I was talking about my training.
Dr Z: That’s it, I’m offended, I’m officially offended.
Mama Z: My training for the pageant or any competitive event, and that just like someone who trains in football, eventually those same goal setting things help with the business end of things. Whether you’re in sales, or for your job or whatever it is that you do, it helps in every other area.
Mama Z: The visualizing was key for job interview, it was key for everything. Even when I speak at the International School of Santa Claus every fall, I envision everything up to that moment, and throughout the week. Just because it’s so important to me, and what I do there, but each event I take each thing separately.
Mama Z: I once was in Las Vegas on a trip, I traveled for Morely Companies for a season, for General Motors, and I did some VIP things and other stuff. I remember being at a Las Vegas show, on our day off, we got to go to a Las Vegas show, and I remember asking one of the stars, I’m like, “You do the same show every single day, six days a week usually, you only usually have one day off. What do you do, how do you do the same exact thing over and over again to this level of perfection?”
Mama Z: The stars told me that, “Every single time I do this, I do it to do it even better than the last time, every single time.” I thought to myself, when I worked for the Saginaw Spirit hockey team, the same kind of thing, during our game days, I’d go through each thing that we did, and I would literally try to do it better than I did the last time, every single time.
Mama Z: I think everybody else can relate to that too, because when we’re at our job, whether it’s something that is repetitive or it happens every single day, we can challenge ourself always to do our very very best every single time we do it.
Dr Z: That’s a really good side nugget is like the bible says, “Work as if you work for God, not for man”, and we should do everything with all of our mind, heart, soul and strength. Whether it’s something as I can relate – something as menial as watching dishes or if you are a server at work or if you’re dealing with nuclear technology, whatever it is that you’re doing, do it with diligence.
Mama Z: With all your heart.
Dr Z: That helps discipline, and in the spirit of this topic of discipline, hard work and healthy goal setting, that helps you really manifest the best out of you.
Mama Z: Absolutely. One of my favorite bosses Dick Garber, and Craig, I remember them both saying, “The enemy of great is good”, and-
Dr Z: We actually, wait, wait wait, that’s a future show.
Mama Z: We will talk about more of that later.
Dr Z: That’s another great show, we’re not going to do that.
Mama Z: We will talk about more of that later.
Dr Z: That is a huge saying.
Mama Z: But, it is so true.
[36:00– 40:27] The Problem with Setting Goals and Vision Boards
Dr Z: But, we’re, visualization. Visualization is absolutely key and seeing yourself successful, seeing yourself doing this, whatever this is, right. Seeing you to the, even the minutest detail. Now in the spirit of visualization, people are … in my opinion, falling down a rut, almost a bunny trail, in this whole goal mentality, vision board mentality. To segment to the, really the end of this topic is … I have a question, I have a question for everybody, and my question that … it’s a very serious question, it’s something that I was presented with, and I believe the Lord presented this with me several years ago, is can a man made goal limit God?
Dr Z: Let that sink in for a second, are your goals limiting God? Another way of asking it is, what if God wants to do more than what you can imagine?
Mama Z: He does, look at the bible.
Dr Z: What’s the Bible say?
Mama Z: Well in Ephesians 3:20, it says that God is well able to do exceeding, abundantly beyond all we could ask or think.
Dr Z: Beyond what we can ask or think. So when this scripture really settled deep into my spirit, I stopped creating vision boards, I stopped writing down goals, and I started to set intentions in my heart, but I kept things open. Here’s a couple of verses that I want to clarify, and then if we have a minute, I’ll talk about what happened with our … I will say this flat out before, just to set the stage. When it really hit me, and when it was home, was when we graduated from chiropractic college, and we had a ton of student loan debt, three maxed out credit cards. We could barely pay rent that month, in fact we had to borrow $3,000 from our landlord.
Dr Z: You had your pageant, that actually help pay some of your pageant expenses, and I remember being at such a low point in my life, really feeling and thinking, “Man, how I’m I going to get through this?” Almost on the brink of bankruptcy, fresh out of school. We had this opportunity to host the Essential Oils Revolution Summit with our good friend Jill Winger, and doctor Josh Axe, and I had no idea the potential of what this could have done for us. Anyway, professionally, financially-
Mama Z: You know what, I knew God was going to do something powerful.
Dr Z: I didn’t know anything, I had no idea. All I remember is that the year before this, this was in 2015, I remember in 2014 listening to the Grow Your Own Food Summit, and listening to Sayer G.
Mama Z: I’m like, “You’ve got to hear this.”
Dr Z: I never even heard of a summit, again I, my whole world was 100% focused on research, and I was getting my masters at the time, and publishing papers, I was in my bubble. I just had my own little world, traveling the country and the world, and I had no idea these stuff even existed. Once you introduced me to this summit world, I was like, “Whoa.”
Mama Z: I was like, “We can totally do this about essential oils.”
Dr Z: That’s what we did, we actually contacted Jill and Josh, we were like, “What do you think about hosting a summit on oils? Never been done before, especially one that wasn’t branded”, not a big sales pitch for one of the big three I call them. Well it happened, and with that event, all I knew was that the production company that put together that event said, “Hey, the largest event that we’ve ever seen it was 110,000 people”, and I was like, “Okay, well I don’t know what to do, that was cool.”
Dr Z: That was like my benchmark, and I was like, “Well I” … they’re like, “Well how many do you want?” I’m like, “I don’t know, a lot, as many people as God wants to give us basically.” All I remember was working my tail off, and doing, I mean I put 100 hours in one week, and after week, after week, after week, and I remember, after 165,000 people, no one could envision that, no one thought it was possible to have an online event with 165,000 people, especially about essential oils.
Dr Z: They literally almost wasn’t going to take us on as a client, because they were like, “Oh, I don’t know if enough people are going to want to know about essential oils.” I had no really goal, all of my intention was, was to do my best and leave the results to God. The same thing for our book, The Healing Power of Essential Oils, we’ve sold over 70,000 copies, it’s now an international best seller, I couldn’t visualize this, I had no idea the potential.
[40:28– 44:43] 3 Misquoted Bible Verses that Can Hinder Goal Setting
Dr Z: Folks, there’s three verses in the bible that I see people … in my opinion, take completely out of context and or they’re missing completely when it comes to this topic of goal setting. The first is Habakkuk 2, “Then the Lord replied, write down the revelation, and make it plain on tablet so that, so that a herald may run with it, for the revelation awaits an appointed time.” It speaks of the end and will prove false, though it linger, wait for it, it will certainly come and will not delay.”
Dr Z: I can’t tell you how many preachers I’ve heard talk about Habakkuk 2, only quote the first part of the scripture, and it says, “Write down the revelation”, other versions say, “Write down the vision, and make it plain.” They use this as a reason why you got to supposed to write down all your goals. Write down all your visions and you just have to put it down on paper and that’s a great way of seeing it come to fruition.
Dr Z: Well, first of all, this was about an actual prophetic revelation that God wanted the Israelites to see and to read and for us to benefit from. I don’t see this as a quote, goal, and I’m not saying that writing goals is a bad thing, but what I’m saying is, first of all I don’t actually see a lot of biblical reference to suggest that we should be writing down goals and doing vision boards, and I’ll explain just a minute.
Dr Z: Proverbs 29, “Where there is no vision” … and I would say I.e. for, more clearly, where there is no divine revelation of his law. Because here’s what the bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish”, or other version say, “The people are unrestrained.” On the bible … now most preachers end with that, they just say, “Well with no vision, people perish.” No, no, read the whole verse, the whole verse says, “Where there is no vision or divine revelation of his law, that people are unrestrained, but happy is he who keeps the law.”
Dr Z: The context of this verse is about obeying God, it’s not about writing down your vision, it’s not about putting things on paper or a vision board. It’s about knowing God’s will and doing it, and this verse in James, and to me Sabrina, really put this all in perspective. When James says flat out to people, “Now listen, you who say today or tomorrow, we will go to this, or we’ll do that, we’ll go to this city, we’ll spend a year there carry on business and make money.” He goes, “Why you don’t even know what’s going to happen tomorrow, what is your life? You’re a mist that appears for a little while and vanishes. Instead you ought to say, if it is the Lord’s will, we will do this or that.”
Dr Z: Here’s where James really kind of hits me in the stomach, “As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes, and all such evil”, or and he says, “All such boasting is evil. If anyone then knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
Dr Z: What is that saying? We have no idea why we’re spending so much of our time with 5, 10, 15, 20 year goals, where we don’t even know that we’re even going to have tomorrow. That’s where God is telling me, “Today is the day that you have, do your best and leave the results to me.”
Mama Z: I think we’ve always both of us individually and this is where we’re very similar, there’s a spirit of excellence that … and we’ll talk about that more too, but that when we do our best as unto the Lord, then we know the results are up to him, and it’s in his hands. It takes it off of our balance sheet, puts it on God’s, and then opens to where the sky is the limit.
Dr Z: What right now, if you have a vision board, and a lot of people do, you have let’s say a Mustang, that’s your vision board. You cut out of a Mustang picture of a magazine and you have a nice house and you have your vision board of all the things that you look at they’re supposed to motivate you.
Dr Z: Well, let me call out the elephant in the room, what if God wants to give you a Lexus or a Ferrari, and you’re believing God for a Mustang? You know what I mean, what if God’s trying to inspire you to believe for more? What if your vision is you just want to save enough money to go on a weekend mission trip, well what if God’s trying to inspire you to earn a lot more money so you can maybe go away for a month, a year, maybe for the rest of your life? Maybe if it’s on your heart to be a missionary.
[44:43 – 59:10] Bible Verses to Set Intentions in Your Heart
Dr Z: Here’s some verses that I use to set what I call intentions, and it’s really just in my heart to do my best and to really, truly leave the results up to God. Once I started living this way, everything just blew through the roof, we’re breaking more records on all these different things, people are like, “How in the world are you doing this?” I’m like, “I just do my best”, “We just do our best and God’s coming through.”
Dr Z: To me, this is the walk of faith, and here are a few scriptures for you all, then I’m going to ask and invite you to write down, and I’m going to give you the address, I’m going to tell you what scripture it is actually. Write it down, and have this be part of like Sabrina shared last week, the verses, the quotes that you keep around to help you motivated on task.
Dr Z: Here’s a couple, Matthew 6:33, “But seek” … And Sabrina feel free to jump in and chime in of course, because we got like 10. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.” What’s all mean to you?
Mama Z: That means everything.
Dr Z: Does that mean all?
Mama Z: It means all, it doesn’t mean some, it means all.
Dr Z: Does that mean marrying the husband of your dreams and knowing you’re not visualizing the date? I’m still offended about that.
Mama Z: No, but this is the thing about-
Dr Z: Does that mean winning Mrs. Georgia? All things, if it’s his will.
Mama Z: If it’s his will, and that’s the biggest thing. I’ve always.
Dr Z: How do you explain that? How do you explain you not winning, and getting first runner-up?
Mama Z: This is the thing, I’m always going to do my best.
Dr Z: Your goal wasn’t his goal, what about that?
Mama Z: No, I mean.
Dr Z: What about, do you believe that? Do you believe it was God’s will for you to win last year?
Mama Z: No, I believe that it’s.
Dr Z: You didn’t win.
Mama Z: Up to the lord, and sometimes it’s not always no, sometimes it’s not right now.
Dr Z: Yes.
Mama Z: I think it’s important, everything is, all things are perfect in his time, not our time.
Dr Z: I love that, and that’s the key.
Mama Z: That’s Ecclesiastes.
Dr Z: That’s why I hate vision boards, because it’s like one year, two year, five year, ten year visions, and I’m just telling you something, you end up losing the boat. Because you end up not living in today, you end up losing focus of what you should be focusing on, and what is that? Seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness. Making sure your life is in just good standing with God, you have a clean, loving life, you live above reproach.
Mama Z: Remember, we walk by faith, not by sight.
Dr Z: Yes.
Mama Z: Sometimes that is where God’s given you a vision of things later down the road or gifts and talents that you needed along the way as you’re preparing for something, but it was for something even more than that. I think it’s important to remember all of those things even in the process of you living your life.
Dr Z: Out of these 11 verses that I picked out that really helped me set my intentions, my quote unquote goals, half of them are from the book of proverbs. Proverbs 3 is one of the first ones that always sticks to me, proverbs 3 verse 5 and 6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct or make straight your path.”
Dr Z: Another one says, “Commit your work to the Lord, whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16, “In the human heart” … I’m sorry, “In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Another version says, “In a man’s mind, he plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps.”
Dr Z: This was so key, is that even though you think you know what you’re doing, like for us for example, investing five and a half years into schooling, to get this doctorate, public health education. We thought that we were going to open up a natural health center, we completely … I went away from, I mean literally, my family did an intervention, my dad said to me, “You’re making the worst decision to leave your good”, quote, “Six figure potential corporate job to chase after a dream of becoming a chiropractor.”
Dr Z: I had no idea God was going to use this experience to give us something that I actually didn’t even know was possible, and giving us this global worldwide ministry. “A man’s mind plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps.”
Mama Z: Well and I, my dad sat down with us, and he says, “Is this what you want to do?” And he said, “Then I will support you 100%.”
Dr Z: Look, we haven’t even practiced chiropractic, like one day. That’s the thing, that’s what’s crazy about this, so you have to trust the process, so here’s the key though, Proverbs 15:22, “Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors, they succeed.” Proverbs 19, “Many” … 19:21, “Many are there plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that will prevail.” That’s where I think a lot of people go wrong, because here’s my question to you, your goal, your vision, is it yours or is it the Lord’s?
Dr Z: It’s hard, it’s hard to tell you, but you know what’s a good safe measure, is having two or three really close friends. Having a spouse that you trust that can share her or his heart, having a mentor, someone that’s discipled you, someone that knows you, having a counselor, a pastor, a rabbi. Someone that could speak to you that you could be like, “Hey, what do you think, is this crazy?”
Dr Z: Then they can be like, “You know what, I can see God in that”, or they’ll say, “I don’t know man, that doesn’t sound right.” Having someone that you could bounce ideas off of, because you’ll be like, “You know what, maybe this is the flesh, maybe this is the carnal nature trying to do something.” Maybe it’s not God’s will for you to be Mrs Universe for example Sabrina, I don’t know-
Mama Z: Yeah, well yeah.
Dr Z: But we’re just doing our best, and you enjoy the pageant process, you enjoy the experience, we have fun, and we get to use your old dresses for black tie events, so that’s always fun.
Mama Z: Well and we get you dressed up in a tux out there.
Dr Z: Yes, tuxedo. Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good.”
Mama Z: Some things?
Dr Z: All things.
Mama Z: All things.
Dr Z: All things work together for God for those who are called according to his purpose. Again how do you set intentions, how do you set goals? You realize as you continue to love God, and how do you love God? The bible is very clear, you obey him, you love him, you serve him.
Dr Z: All things are going to work for your good. Proverbs 21:5, “The plans of the diligent, lead surely to abundance.” I brought this scripture out because in the spirit of this topic that we’re talking about, discipline, hard work, ethics, you got to hustle, you got to work hard, you got to work with all your mind, heart, soul and strength. You really got to put your soul into something.
Mama Z: I have to say, you are a good hustler, you are a good hustler.
Dr Z: I don’t know anything else.
Mama Z: You’re good at it.
Dr Z: I’m as extreme as you get.
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: That’s my nature, it’s like I don’t know what else to do, it’s like I put my heart and soul into something. I don’t, I’d never felt … and that’s where going back to the last episode, I talk about taking the easy way in school in my undergrad.
Mama Z: Is this like.
Dr Z: The path of least resistance.
Mama Z: This is like, you’re totally not that anymore, so is this like pre-
Dr Z: No, that was BC, that was before Christ, when I was 19, 18, when I changed my major 100 times, it took the easiest route. That’s why, English literature, I mean I just, writing’s my thing, it’s natural, I don’t have to think about it. I aced, I aced all the way through college, because I took easy classes, the classes I knew I could, and I graduated with this useless degree for me. Because I didn’t teach, I didn’t do anything with English, and it was a lesson learned, I never applied myself, I never challenged my self, and I got to say my undergraduate years were very unaccomplished.
Dr Z: No wonder I fell into drugs, no wonder I fell into drinking and smoking pot and depression, I was never satisfied. Anyway, all that before Christ. What else we got? A couple more. Isaiah 40 … one of my favorite verses, Isaiah 40 verse 3, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.”
Dr Z: But the key to this … again the context of setting goals, your intentions are waiting upon the Lord, and knowing and trusting that as you do your part, God will do his part. He will renew your strength, renew your vigor, I mean really, five and a half years was a long time to study, to have two babies in school, to become a chiropractor, to become a doctor, to be a researcher.
Dr Z: There were parts, I wanted to give up, there were parts, my strength was sapped, but I will say, looking back, God renewed my strength, every step of the way.
Mama Z: Absolutely.
Dr Z: Of course our favorite-
Mama Z: Yes-
Dr Z: Your favorite, everyone’s favorite Philippians 4:13.
Mama Z: “I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Dr Z: You want to finish out with Philippians 3:13?
Mama Z: Yes, and then if I was to add one, I’d do, “You’re more than a conqueror”, that’d be the last one.
Dr Z: Amen.
Mama Z: “Forgetting what lies behind and”
Dr Z: Well hold on a second though, so again, “I could do all things through him”, again, setting goals, setting intentions.
Mama Z: Absolutely.
Dr Z: How do you, think about this, don’t limit yourself, that’s the whole context of all of this, and what I want you to do is let Philippians 4:13 sink into your spirit, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Dr Z: If someone would have told me literally 10 years ago, I would quit a good corporate job, to have an online bible health ministry with my wife, that we’d be serving millions of people with a team of 20 people, I would thought you’d be crazy, and I never would have quit quit my job to do that.
Dr Z: I would quit my job to become a chiropractor, because I could visualize that, I could understand that, I’m like “Oh, yeah I go to chiropractor, that’s easy, I have an office, have a couple of employees, I could do that”, that was easy for me to obtain.
Dr Z: What we do right now was so, not even in the realm of my imagination, because I didn’t think I could do it, and quite frankly, going through school reminded me that I could do all things through Christ. Because up until I was 29 years old, I kept on telling myself, “You can’t be a doctor, you’re not smart enough, you can’t do this, you don’t have a good enough memory. You can’t do this, you can’t do that.” By taking that leap of faith, it was Philippians 4:13, “I could do all things through him”.
Mama Z: Absolutely.
Dr Z: You listening right now, you watching right now doing the streaming? What is it that’s on your heart? Do you really believe that you could do this? Whatever it is, and I would challenge you to take a moment, pray about it, meditate on it, visualize it, what is it that you’re here to do? Because I believe that we’re all destined for great things.
Dr Z: Not everyone is going to have a global ministry, not everyone is going to be a Billy Graham, you literally can’t be, everyone can’t be the president of the United Sates, there’s only so many job slots. But you could be the best whatever it is that you could do, and you know what, if anyone has, I think Amazon or for sure Netflix, go look up the movie Happy, the best documentary in the history of the world. It talks about how relative how happiness is, and people that are the happiest people on the planet, aren’t the richest by the way.
Dr Z: They’re people that get a lot of fulfillment and joy from their work, and they show a guy flipping burgers at a night [inaudible 00:52:50] and they show a rickshaw driver in India, these are some of the happiest people on earth. They feel fulfillment in what they do, it’s really relative, it’s finding purpose in what you do, having skill sets, and being who you are.
Mama Z: It makes me think of the Psalms scripture that says, “God wants to give you your hearts desire and not even withhold the request of your lips.” I think that is so important because sometimes we don’t always know what our heart’s desire is, because we’re not there yet, but God does because he sees the picture from beginning to the end. Trusting in the Lord and leaning not in our own understanding allows us to have that freedom where God can flourish.
Dr Z: I’m going to give you a secret, I’m glad you mentioned that, I’m going to give everyone a secret. How do you find out what those heart’s desires are? The bible’s clear, I think it’s Psalms 37:4 right, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Something happens, it’s literally a physical thing, and I’ll tell you, your synopsis in your brain start to fire, there’s hormones that release endorphins, it literally is a physiological response when you worship God.
Dr Z: I found when I accepted Christ 15 years ago, I started worshiping him, delighting in him, just falling in love with him. He’s our daddy, and he sent his son to die for our sins, and I just was head over heels in love with him, and next thing you know, my heart starts to change. I didn’t desire smoking anymore, I didn’t desire bad food, I didn’t desire pornography, I didn’t desire swearing and cursing, I didn’t desire dirty movies, whatever, you name it.
Dr Z: The desire was taken out of my heart, and it was replaced for desire for good things, healthy things, and…
Mama Z: I wouldn’t, I mean I don’t even know you BC, so I don’t
Dr Z: You would have hated me, you never would have looked at me twice, you would have looked at “Who’s this loser?” You would have.
Mama Z: You’re just such a different person, I’ve never, that BC person, I just don’t even know.
Dr Z: That’s why I don’t talk to half of my family, they’re just like, “Where’s Eric?” I don’t talk to any of the … my old-
Mama Z: See I never knew that person so for me I’m just like you’re you.
Dr Z: My old drinking college buddies, we don’t talk anymore, it’s like there’s this … because they haven’t, we don’t see eye to eye, we don’t agree, we don’t have that relation anymore, we don’t. Anyway, delight yourself in the Lord, and you literally will get a heart transplant, if I had my own version on the bible, that’s what it would say. “Worship God, love him, and he’ll give you a new heart.”
Mama Z: I think it says in revelations that you’re not supposed to add or take away from Scriptures.
Dr Z: But Ezekiel does say though, “He’ll take out of your heart, a heart of stone”-
Mama Z: Yes.
Dr Z: “And replace it with a heart of flesh”, that’s part of it. And Philippians 3:13, what’s that?
Mama Z: “Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on towards the goal for the price of the upward call of God and Christ Jesus.”
Dr Z: This is the life, this is the vision board, heaven. I mean really, if you want a vision board, draw what you think heaven is, this should be driving us. To live a life, to spend eternity with each other, to spend eternity with God, and not looking behind, and this is key.

[1:00:03 – 1:02:12 ] Natural Living Tip: An Alternative to Traditional Goal Setting and Vision Boards
Mama Z: And to wrap up today’s show, we have a special Natural Living Tip for you!
Dr Z: So, instead of creating a vision board try starting a prayer journal that you can jot down your thoughts, your feelings, and intuitions as you commit your works unto the Lord. And this is especially valuable for business owners, for business men and women, marketers and people who are really focused on growing themselves professionally, spiritually and any other area of their life.
Dr Z: So what you would do is you would really focus on what is happening today, and you talk to the Lord. And this can be on your phone, it could be a written journal – It could be a number of different things. And let’s say you have a goal a heart’s desire to let’s say lose 15 pounds, or let’s say increase your income so you’re not living paycheck to paycheck. Well put that down on paper, put that on your phone. Make that the note and commit it to God. Say, “God this is on my heart right now. This is something that I’m really hoping to do and I’m going to commit this to you. Guide me on what I should and shouldn’t do.” And then have this be part of your prayer journal. Have this be part of your prayer time.
Dr Z: And as you read the Bible and as you fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ, as you go to church, have this with you. And when something comes to you, and pretty much it always will come to you, the Holy Spirit will speak to you in that still small voice and He’ll give you little tidbits of where you should go. And like the Bible says in the book of Proverbs, “The path of the righteous is like the rising of the sun. It gets brighter and brighter to the full light of day.” And as you seek the Lord in these areas, He will lighten your path.
So what you do is as when you feel you have a thought or an intuition or a Spirit led directive of what to do, when it comes to these desires and goals that you have, then you put that down. You jot it down and you start to move and you document step by step by step. You’ll be surprised as you look back at your journey how wonderful God has shown up and how just very clear He’s been in all these areas. And here’s the tip:
Don’t Limit God.
Dr Z: Say, “God, whatever it is that you have for me.” Because maybe you’re only believing God to lose 15 pounds but He wants to help you lose 50. Don’t limit God and you’ll be very surprised at the results.
