Superfood Thyroid Support Smoothie

Notes: • This smoothie includes many of the best foods for thyroid health as ingredients. Use quality organic or locally grown produce if possible • Do not peel fruit (except the orange) • Use fresh, raw nuts and seeds
  • 3 Brazil nuts
  • 5 stems cilantro (wash, and pluck leaves; discard stems)
  • 1 drop cilantro essential oil
  • 1 pear, sliced with skin on, pit removed
  • 1 orange or tangerine, peeled
  • 1 drop orange essential oil
  • 2 T raw pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds
  • ¼ c yogurt (We use unsweetened, vanilla coconut yogurt)
  • Bonus: sprinkle in some powdered kelp
  1. Wash all produce
  2. Pluck cilantro leaves, and discard stems
  3. Slice unpeeled pear crosswise, and poke out seeds with a butter knife
  4. Peel orange or tangerine
  5. Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth, adding quality water if needed to liquify
